Ground Floor:
1. In the Filing Room, over 8000 petitions are sent in each year and hope they are granted by the members of the supreme court.
2. The press room is used for the supreme court to release opinions.
1st Floor:
1. The Conference Rooms are utilized for events of the Court as well as occasional television appearances by the Justices.
2. The Lawyers Lounge Room is where attorneys will gather for final preparations and instructions before entering the Courtroom for oral argument in front of the nine justices.
2nd Floor:
1. Justices gather in a private second floor Dining hall to have an informal, yet traditional lunch together after their courtroom experience.
2. The John Marshall Dining Room is a private room just for the Justices, it contains portraits of James Madison and William Marbury from the famous Marbury v. Madison case establishing judicial review.
3rd Floor:
1. The Supreme Court Library contains all the volumes of State and Federal law as well as many other legal books and documents.
2. The Supreme Court Library is located on the third floor of the Supreme Court building, this private room is for the use of the Supreme Court as well members of the Supreme Court bar.
