Assignment 10-29

1. -Whats the point of the cartoon? (Cartoon Message)
-  Whys there an elephant? (Use of images or artistic techniques)
- Whyd they destroy the building?
- Why is the voter arresting them?  (subject of the cartoon)
- Why do they think they've done a good thing by pushing over the building? (Cartoons message)
2. First step is to look over your cartoon. Second step is to the find the primary focus of the cartoon. Third step is to find out what type of cartoon your audience would like. Fourth step is to understand the context of the cartoon. Fifth step is to look for widely recognized symbols in your cartoon. Sixth step is to look at the minor details of the cartoon.
3. - Cartoonist use symbolisms to stand for larger concepts or ideas.
- Exaggeration is used to exaggerate the physical characteristics of people or things.
- Labels are used to label objects to show what they stand for.
- Analogy is used to compare two unlike things.
- Irony is the difference between the ways things are expected to be.
